Today we announce Bridge, a digital platform that allows insurance brokers to instantly quote commercial lines with their appointed carriers in just one application. Bridge allows brokers to be the broker of record, and keep their commissions and amendatory endorsements – quoting directly with the carrier and no intermediary – all leveraging the strengths of Limit’s digital connectivity. Bridge is designed to give any broker state-of-the-art digital capabilities while continuing to develop the strong carrier relationships that have been crucial to their success.

At Limit, we have traditionally operated as a digital wholesale broker, with an expert brokerage team to sit in-between retail brokers and carriers. We’ve heard clear demand from retail brokers for our software to allow them to connect directly with their carriers so they could maintain their direct relationships: Bridge is our answer.

We are delighted to make insurance transactions faster and easier by enabling brokers to leverage Limit’s proprietary platform for their direct placements. Furthermore, when a broker’s appointed carriers can’t get the deal done, Bridge enables brokers to easily connect with Limit’s wholesale division to get complex placements over the finish line.
